Day-one plan to end lawless policies/cases and terminate consent decrees

Mandate instructs preparing before inauguration to end policies/investigations/cases contrary to law or Administration policy, terminate unnecessary consent decrees, ban settlement payments to third parties, and specially reverse FACE Act “double standards.”

Mandate

Mandate Ch. 17 (Justice) — Promptly Eliminating Lawless Policies: before entering office review policies/investigations/cases; prepare plan to end those contrary to law or Administration policies; terminate unnecessary/outdated consent decrees; intervene in lingering decrees; enact policies prohibiting settlement payments to third parties; ensure review covers FACE Act campaign.

Undo plan

1) Preserve consent decrees that remedy unconstitutional policing and institutional violations. 2) Rescind blanket day-one case terminations aimed at civil-rights and reproductive-access enforcement. 3) Keep FACE Act enforcement viewpoint-neutral alongside protection of clinics and pregnancy centers. 4) Allow limited third-party remediation in settlements when victims benefit, with transparency. 5) Verify: active consent-decree compliance reports; FACE docket balance.
