Repeal AFFH, end PAVE appraisal equity, kill Housing Supply Fund and climate spending
Mandate’s Secretary/OGC task force would end PAVE, repeal AFFH and equity special-purpose credit uses, eliminate the Housing Supply Fund, and repeal climate initiatives in HUD budgets.

Mandate Ch. 15 (HUD) — First-year reforms: immediately end PAVE policies; repeal climate change initiatives/spending; repeal Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing regulation and special-purpose credit equity uses; eliminate the new Housing Supply Fund; reverse progressive ideology across programs via political appointee task force.
Undo plan
1) Reinstate AFFH rulemaking that requires meaningful fair-housing planning by grantees.
2) Restore appraisal bias research/remediation (PAVE or successor) with appraisal integrity safeguards.
3) Fund housing supply tools and climate resilience for HUD stock where authorized.
4) Withdraw task-force directives that purge equity/DEI program guidance wholesale.
5) Verify: fair-housing complaint outcomes; appraisal disparity studies; disaster-resilient unit counts.
