Mandate Ch. 26 (Trade) — The Case for Fair Trade (Navarro): prohibit the use of Communist Chinese–made drones in American airspace; ban all Chinese social media apps such as TikTok and WeChat that pose significant national security risks and expose American consumers to data and identity theft.
Undo plan
1) Replace blanket product/app bans with risk-based ICTS / CFIUS / FCC Covered List processes with due process and judicial review.
2) For social apps, prefer divestiture-to-trusted-ownership or data-localization mitigation over total consumer bans where risk is mitigable.
3) Align drone airspace rules with FAA safety and DoD/DHS critical-infrastructure assessments, not origin-only bans.
4) Codify First Amendment and commerce limits on viewpoint-blind national-security restrictions.
